You will work to set up a lab from scratch, including spec’ing and purchasing all required lab equipment and tooling. You will have in-depth knowledge of modern synthetic organic chemistry and material properties, especially porous materials, experience in material characterization (e.g. TGA, XRD, BET surface area analysis) and how to interpret such results, contribute to systems level designs, and oversee external vendors to aid in sorbent R&D. You will oversee all aspects of your projects, including initial requirements gathering, feasibility studies, full system design, purchasing and procurement, project management, manufacturing, contractor management, installation, and activation.
