About the Role:
Crusoe is seeking a strategic and self-directed Director, Workforce Housing & Data Center Workplace Operations to lead the development and execution of workforce housing strategy and workplace operations across both remote and non-remote data center sites. As Crusoe continues to scale its data center footprint, this role will be responsible for designing short- and long-term housing solutions where needed, defining what sustainable communities look like in remote environments, and ensuring a consistent, safe, and high-quality workplace experience across all data center locations.
This individual will serve as a key partner to Workplace, People, and Finance leadership, owning the end-to-end strategy and execution of workforce housing and data center workplace programs. Success in this role requires the ability to operate in ambiguity, balance speed with long-term planning, and build scalable models that can be applied consistently across different site types.
What You'll Be Working On:
Partner with the Global Director of Workplace to define and execute Crusoe’s workforce housing strategy for remote and non-remote data center locations, including short-term, transitional, and long-term housing solutions where applicable.
Lead the planning, development, and rollout of workforce housing programs, evaluating options such as leasing, partnerships, and build-to-suit solutions while balancing cost, speed, risk, and employee experience.
Define clear principles for what “community” means in remote environments, including amenities, shared spaces, services, safety considerations, and overall employee experience.
Own the Workplace operating model for all data center sites, ensuring consistency, safety, and operational rigor while adapting to site-specific needs.
Manage and develop a team of Workplace Site Managers responsible for day-to-day workplace operations at data center locations.
Lead workplace readiness for new data center openings and expansions, including service activation, vendor onboarding, and coordination with IT, Security, and Operations.
Partner closely with Data Center Operations, Safety, People, Legal, and Finance to ensure housing and workplace solutions are compliant, financially sound, and aligned with workforce needs.
Own and manage the Workforce Housing and Data Center Workplace Operations P&L, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls across housing programs and data center sites. Partner closely with Finance, Workplace, and Data Center leadership to ensure spend aligns with growth plans, operational requirements, and risk management.
Identify, onboard, and manage external partners (e.g., housing providers, developers, property managers, service vendors), setting clear expectations and accountability.
Establish governance, decision frameworks, and escalation paths to manage risk, scope, and delivery across housing and workplace initiatives.

What You'll Bring to the Team:
8–12+ years of experience in workplace operations, real estate, workforce housing, facilities, or operations roles within high-growth, industrial, or distributed environments.
Demonstrated experience leading and developing site-based or distributed teams, ideally across multiple locations.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Experience developing and managing housing, facilities, or site-based programs that require balancing cost, speed, safety, and employee experience.
Experience working in or supporting a data center environment is a plus.
Strong judgment and comfort operating in ambiguity, with the ability to build structure where none exists.
Clear and confident communicator, able to align operational teams, external partners, and senior leadership.
Willingness to travel regularly to data center sites.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Compensation Range
Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $182,000-$228,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicants knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
