The Problem

Electrifying homes and buildings is one of the most important ways to cut emissions, lower energy bills, and build a more reliable electric grid. While many incentive and financing programs exist to support this work, they are often difficult to use in practice.

The challenge is not technology. It is complexity.

Every heat pump, EV charger, and solar installation comes with paperwork, eligibility rules, income verification, and long wait times for payment. Contractors such as plumbers, electricians, and HVAC technicians are busy running small businesses. They do not have the time or resources to navigate complicated incentive programs, especially when serving lower-income customers.

This friction slows everything down. At the scale required, tens of millions of home upgrades, it becomes a serious barrier.

That is what Eli is here to fix.

The Opportunity

Eli is a fast-growing, venture-backed software company working to make clean energy upgrades easier to deliver and easier to access.

We build tools that help contractors apply for incentives, submit paperwork, and receive payment quickly. This allows them to focus on doing great work instead of dealing with bureaucracy. Our software supports upgrades such as heat pumps, EV chargers, insulation, solar, and battery storage. It helps move projects from idea to installation without unnecessary delays.

In Colorado, Eli supports contractors across programs including Xcel, HEAR, and EnergySmart. To date, much of our growth has come through referrals and inbound demand. We are now looking for someone to help build and scale our contractor network across the state.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys operating in the field, building relationships from scratch, and helping shape go-to-market strategy in a fast-moving environment. You will work directly with leadership and have meaningful ownership over how Eli expands in Colorado.

*Note that Eli is proud to have a “no negotiation” compensation policy. We believe it is on us to do our homework, and work to understand your expectations as part of the interview process, and ensure we are offering a competitive salary for every position. A growing body of evidence suggests that allowing for negotiation exacerbates pay disparities and simply rewards good negotiators. There’s also evidence that women and people of color are less likely to negotiate. That sucks so we’re not doing it. We want everybody on our team to feel well-compensated and on track to meet their financial goals, so if you get an offer from us, you can be assured it’s the best offer we can make.About Eli
