About Formo

At Formo, we're rebuilding dairy to help create a just and resilient food system. Using precision fermentation, we produce real, bio-identical milk proteins, starting with casein.

We are a B2B platform: we make the proteins, and food manufacturers build the next generation of dairy products on top of them. Our work sits at the intersection of molecular biology, food science, and industrial innovation, and our job in the market is to make a deep-tech ingredient legible and compelling to the formulators, brands, and technical buyers who will use it.

Formo is a venture-backed, fast-growing company with an international team of highly skilled entrepreneurs, scientists, and operators. United by a passion for challenging the status quo, we're building the future of food.

Key Responsibilities

Demand Generation & Trade Show Activation

  • Own the marketing strategy and execution for trade shows such as IFT FIRST and SupplySide, including booth narrative, pre-show LinkedIn campaigns, exhibitor e-blasts, sponsored newsletters, banner ads, lead capture, and follow-up workflows

  • Build and run B2B demand generation campaigns that produce qualified pipeline for the Commercial team

  • Coordinate trade-press features and sponsored content

Content & Creative

  • Own content end to end: LinkedIn posts, blog and website copy, application one-pagers for customer outreach, trade show collateral

  • Translate technical and strategic substance, such as functionality characterization and value propositions, into clear market-facing formats for non-expert audiences

  • Set and hold a production cadence so content ships consistently

Digital Presence & Brand Operations

  • Own LinkedIn company page strategy and cadence, and coordinate our other social channels

  • Maintain and evolve brand guidelines, and enforce claim discipline and messaging red lines across all output

PR & Earned Media

  • Own earned media: place stories in the right trade press using your own active relationships

  • Lead op-ed and feature placement, reactive press, and briefings

  • Build the press release and story-pitch strategy around Formo's commercial and regulatory milestones

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with the commercial team on sales enablement activities

  • Manage external creative and PR support, including a marketing advisors and agencies

  • Work directly with the founders and technical experts, comfortable both challenging and being challenged

About You

Education & Experience

  • 5+ years in B2B marketing, ideally in food ingredients, industrial biotech, specialty chemicals, or an adjacent technical B2B field

  • Hands-on trade show activation experience: you have run booth campaigns, pre-show outreach, and lead capture, not just attended

  • US market experience is a strong plus

Technical & Functional Skills

  • Comfortable with marketing tooling, including CRM (HubSpot), LinkedIn analytics, and content and design workflows

  • Data-informed: you measure what you ship and adjust based on results

Mindset

  • Bias to ship over polish; you would rather get a strong asset out this week than a perfect one next month

  • Genuinely interested in technical subject matter and comfortable working alongside scientists

Collaboration & Communication

  • Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences

  • Experience managing external agencies or fractional specialists

  • Fluent in English
