Responsibilities: Lead the planning, execution, and technical oversight of pilot projects. Implement and adapt project management frameworks, tools, and methodologies tailored to project-specific requirements. Manage project risks, budgets, schedules, resources, and stakeholder communications. Coordinate with engineering and fabrication contractors, ensuring compliance with engineering and safety standards. Oversee installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of pilot equipment. Serve as a liaison for project logistics and execution. Apply process engineering and mass transfer principles. Size and specify process equipment (e.g., pumps, valves, vessels, instrumentation). Utilize process control design and implementation, including SCADA, ladder logic, and automation. Apply engineering modeling tools (such as Aspen) for calculations and simulations. Troubleshoot process systems using knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering, as well as environmental standards. Domestic and international travel to unanticipated client sites up to 15% annually.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field of engineering. Experience must include five years of experience in design engineering/project engineering/project management. Experience must include four years each of the following: technical project management for field-based pilot projects and mineral processing/chemical processing/industrial water treatment projects; fabrication and packaging methods for process equipment modules; installing, commissioning, and troubleshooting process systems; process engineering and mass transfer principles; process equipment sizing and specification of pumps, valves, vessels, and instrumentation; and engineering tools for calculations and simulations. Experience may be gained concurrently. Domestic and international travel to unanticipated client sites up to 15% annually.
