Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales goals and soft product sales.
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner, resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Train, coach, and mentor sales staff to enhance their product knowledge, selling skills, and customer engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards, including inventory management, pricing, and promotions.
  • Manage inventory levels, replenishment, and merchandise presentation to optimise sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and a customer-centric culture.
  • Monitor sales performance and analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, accounts to support overall business objectives and initiatives.
  • Prepare sales reports, budgets, and forecasts, providing regular updates to senior management on sales performance and key metrics.

Ideal Candidate :

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in retail sales management, with a minimum of 6 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, employees, and senior management.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with retail management software preferred.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by the demands of the retail environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and professionalism.
