About Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven System Validation Manager to lead the testing and validation of EV 2-wheeler systems. This role involves overseeing the validation of integrated systems, ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards, and managing a team of engineers to deliver high-quality products. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of EV systems, including Battery Management Systems (BMS), Motor Controllers, and Vehicle Control Units (VCU), along with expertise in testing methodologies and tools.

About Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven System Validation Manager to lead the testing and validation of EV 2-wheeler systems. This role involves overseeing the validation of integrated systems, ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards, and managing a team of engineers to deliver high-quality products. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of EV systems, including Battery Management Systems (BMS), Motor Controllers, and Vehicle Control Units (VCU), along with expertise in testing methodologies and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of validation engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship
- Define team objectives and ensure timely delivery of validation milestones
- Develop comprehensive validation strategies for EV 2-wheeler systems, including powertrain, battery, and auxiliary systems
- Define system-level test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria based on design specifications
- Ensure validation covers hardware, software, and system integration aspects
- Conduct tests for electrical parameters, thermal management, and system efficiency
- Ensure system validation aligns with automotive and EV-specific standards such as AIS-156, ISO 26262, and EMC/EMI regulations
- Investigate and resolve system-level failures during testing
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions
- Analyze test data, identify performance trends, and generate validation reports
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders for design improvements
- Work closely with design, software, and integration teams to address validation feedback
- Support end-to-end validation from component level to full system integration
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field
- 8 to 14 years of experience in system validation and testing, preferably in EV or automotive domains
- Proven track record of leading validation projects for EV powertrain and electronic systems
- Expertise in functional safety (ISO 26262) and homologation processes, functional safety (ISO 26262) and homologation processes
