Key Responsibilities
- We are looking for a high-energy Graduate Engineering Trainee to support development and lifecycle management of critical electrical peripherals. This role demands you to work on specific components that define the rider's interface and the vehicle's intelligence - Such as, Smart Display Cluster (TFT, LCD, Telematics), Vehicle Control Unit (VCU), Battery Management System (BMS), Motor Control Unit (MCU), Lighting Systems (Lamps), and HMI Peripherals (Horn/Switchgear) etc.
- Development support: Support Senior engineers with the end-to-end development of assigned peripherals (Display, VCU, Lamps, etc.).
- Requirements Management: Support with Authoring and maintaining detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRD) and technical specifications, translating high-level vehicle goals into component-level engineering targets.
- Integration & System Logic: Work on system level behavior and logics, defining hardware-software interface and over all Vehicular communication.
- Supplier Coordination: Support technical discussions with Tier-1 and Tier-2 vendors and help manage timelines for tool development, sample submissions (A-sample to T0-sample), and manufacturing validation.
- Validation & Troubleshooting: Execute rigorous bench-level and vehicle-level testing. Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve hardware-software integration bugs or functional failures.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering.
- Experience: 0 to 2 years.
- Project experience: Must have active experience in a college project team (e.g., FSAE, BAJA, Robocon, Satellite Team, or a major technical capstone project).
- Problem-solving mindset, structured logical thinking, and eagerness to learn.
- Electrical Fundamentals: Strong understanding of circuit theory and basic electronics.
- Design & Tools : Experience with PCB design tools like KICAD or Altium and Software tools like Eclipse IDE.
- Hands-on Electronics: Comfort with soldering, wire crimping, harness fabrication, and bench instrument operation.
- Communication Protocols (Bonus): Basic familiarity with automotive communication protocols like CAN is a plus.
