Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide technical guidance to ASMs, dealers, and service centres to resolve complex product issues with minimal vehicle downtime
  2. Guide field teams in root cause identification using diagnostic tools, telematics, log analysis, and technical documentation
  3. Analyse field failures, warranty claims, repeat repairs, breakdowns, and telematics to identify failure patterns and emerging quality trends
  4. Author and publish technical advisories, troubleshooting guides, service bulletins, and service manual updates
  5. Drive immediate Issue Containment Actions (ICA) for critical defects and validate Permanent Corrective Actions (PCA) before field implementation
  6. Raise structured technical concern reports with supporting evidence and present issues in Cross-Functional Team (CFT) meetings
  7. Conceptualize and innovate Digital Diagnostic APPs, tools, and telemetry procedures to enhance service capabilities
  8. Lead First-Time-Right (FTR) repair initiatives to reduce repeat repairs and improve overall technical issue turnaround time
  9. Build analytical dashboards to monitor technical KPIs and generate insights supporting Engineering and Management decision-making
  10. Capture field feedback to refine service processes, repair methods, and best practices across the entire dealer network
  11. Predict emerging quality concerns using statistical techniques, trend analysis, and predictive failure modeling
  12. Maintain technical knowledge databases to ensure field learnings and failure analysis reports are shared across the organization
  13. Develop technical training content and conduct workshops/webinars for dealer technicians and field teams
  14. Monitor the effectiveness of implemented corrective actions in the field to confirm long-term issue resolution
  15. Facilitate seamless communication across field operations, engineering, quality, and dealer networks for fast technical escalations

Ideal Candidate

  1. Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or Mechatronics.
  2. Specialization or certification in Electric Vehicle Technology is preferred.
  3. 3–5 years of experience in Automotive or Electric Vehicle Technical Support, Product Quality, Service Engineering, or Diagnostics.
  4. Hands-on experience in EV systems, diagnostics, and field issue resolution.
  5. Experience working with cross-functional teams and product development.
