About Watershed
Watershed is the enterprise sustainability platform. Companies like Airbnb, Carlyle Group, FedEx, Visa, and Dr. Martens use Watershed to manage climate and ESG data, produce audit-ready metrics for voluntary and regulatory reporting including CSRD, and drive real decarbonization. We are looking for team members who love product-building, want to work hard at a mission-oriented startup, and will collaborate with us in shaping the culture of a growing team.
We have offices in San Francisco, New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Sydney, Mexico City, and remote team members across the US and Europe. We hope that you'll be interested in joining us!
The role
We’re hiring a Go-To-market recruiter to partner closely with our Head of Sales to scale our US-sales organization across a range of roles - Enterprise/Strategic AEs, SDRs, leadership. You’ll own end-to-end recruiting—from intake through signed offer—plus the operating cadence, metrics, and stakeholder relationships that make it all run. You’ll also have the opportunity to support global roles and new teams as we grow and help build out more programmatic hiring as we expand.
What you’ll do
Own full-cycle recruiting for US go-to-market roles: intake, sourcing, calibration, structured assessment, stakeholder alignment, closing.
Be a strategic partner to the Head of Sales and other leadership on programmatic approaches to hiring
Build diverse, high-quality pipelines using a mix of outbound sourcing, referrals, campaigns, and targeted market mapping.
Establish and run the GTM recruiting operating cadence: weekly pipeline reviews, SLAs, interview panel training, debriefs, and retros.
Design and manage structured interviews, scorecards, and analytics to improve signal and reduce bias.
Track and report core recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline mix, pass-through rates, offer acceptance).
Support global hiring needs as we expand and help stand up new teams or hire for new-to-Wateshed roles.
What success looks like
In 30 days
Build trust with GTM leaders; run crisp intake for top-priority roles and finalize scorecards/interview panels.
Audit current funnel metrics and create a weekly dashboard (pass-through rates, cycle time, diversity of pipeline).
Launch targeted sourcing for 2–3 critical roles with calibrated profiles and outreach messaging.
Align on hiring bar with Sales and People partner.
In 3 months
Consistently run the GTM recruiting operating cadence: weekly pipeline reviews, structured debriefs.
Deliver 3–5 hires across GTM roles
Reduce time-to-offer through better SLAs, scheduling, and calibrated sourcing.
Review and revise interview process; roll out interview training for GTM panels
Stand up a diverse top-of-funnel program (referral drives, affinity communities, targeted lists of competitors/adjacencies).
In 6 months
Hit hiring plan with strong quality and acceptance rates; build a bench for high-priority roles.
Establish a repeatable playbook for closing GTM roles (intake templates, scorecards, sourcing maps, enablement).
Expand scope to support selected global roles; share best practices with the broader Recruiting team.
Be viewed by Sales leadership as a strategic partner
Must be willing to work from an office 4 days per week (except for remote roles)
Watershed has hub offices in San Francisco, New York, London, and Mexico City and satellite offices in Sydney, Paris, and Berlin. Where we have offices, employees are expected to be in office for 4 days per week. Certain jobs are open to being remote and will be specifically noted on the jobs page and in the job description if so.
What’s the interview process like?
It starts the same for every candidate: getting to know the team members through 1 to 2 conversations about Watershed, your experience, and your interests. Next steps can vary by role, but usual next steps are a skill or experience interview (e.g. a coding interview for an engineer, a portfolio review for a designer, deeper experience call for other roles) which leads to a virtual or in person interview panel. We prioritize transparency and lack of surprise throughout the process.
What if I need accommodations for my interview?
At Watershed, we are dedicated to ensuring an inclusive recruitment process. We provide reasonable accommodations for candidates with disabilities, long-term conditions, mental health needs, religious observances, neurodivergence, or pregnancy-related support requirements. If you need assistance during your process, please contact your recruiter.
