We are looking for team members who love product-building, want to work hard at a mission-oriented startup, and will collaborate with us in shaping the culture of a growing team.

We have offices in San Francisco, New York, Denver, London, Paris, Berlin, Sydney, Mexico City, and remote team members across the US and Europe. We hope that you'll be interested in joining us!

The role

The role

We are growing our Partnerships team and looking for a Watershed product, services, and customer expert to lead the development of how we work with partners – including architecting our partner services menu and training our partners and internal teams on how to co-deliver successful customer outcomes.

We’re at a high-growth, early stage phase with our program, and your role will involve developing and scaling the key, foundational components (e.g. Joint service/software offering, partner certification program), as well as working closely with internal Watershed teams to define and optimize how we collaborate most effectively. Through your efforts, you'll shape the direction of our partner ecosystem, driving adoption and successful customer deliveries for both our partners and Watershed.

You’ll work directly with our Head of Partnerships, along with a number of cross-functional partners in Sales, Sustainability Advisory & Services, Customer Success, Product, and other teams. Your role will span our global partner program - across system integrators, technology partners, cloud providers, and across all territories.

This role is based in New York and will require some travel.

You will:

  • Design and develop our partner services menu by understanding the customer need, partner capabilities, integration with Watershed services, and how to bring to market, aligning closely with our in-house Sustainability Advisory & Services team

  • Lead partner trainings to enable our most strategic partners to position, pitch, and deliver services using Watershed for their clients

  • Enable internal Watershed teams on partner services and how to work most effectively with partners in both pre and post sales capacities

  • Partner with the customer team to ensure the success of joint Partner/Watershed delivery, including customer outcomes, partner outcomes, and the ability for Sustainability Advisory & Services team to deliver efficiently; develop our partner services delivery playbook and best practices and incorporate learnings to optimize for continued improvement, aligning closely with our internal teams

  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify and prioritize partner program needs and create/drive cross team initiatives

  • Work with product and engineering teams to ensure partner needs and requirements are incorporated into product roadmaps

You might be a fit if you:

  • Have 5+ years of experience in partner enablement, partner success, customer success, or professional services roles, ideally in B2B SaaS

  • Bring experience in designing and scaling services offerings, training programs, or certification frameworks (Nice to have)

  • Have experience working with system integrators, consulting firms, or technology partners in a co-delivery model

  • Are a passionate thought-partner and collaborator across product, marketing, data and customer teams

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill; ability to convey complex concepts clearly and succinctly, adapting content for multiple audiences with different needs

  • Ability to see an issue from multiple perspectives. This role requires looking at a process/system/offering from the vantage point of the customer, the partner, and the Watershed team(s) that are co-delivering, and optimizing not for one but for all.

Must be willing to work from an office 4 days per week (except for remote roles)

Watershed has hub offices in San Francisco, New York, London, and Mexico City and satellite offices in Denver, Sydney, Paris, and Berlin. Where we have offices, employees are expected to be in office for 4 days per week. Certain jobs are open to being remote and will be specifically noted on the jobs page and in the job description if so.

What’s the interview process like?

It starts the same for every candidate: getting to know the team members through 1 to 2 conversations about Watershed, your experience, and your interests. Next steps can vary by role, but usual next steps are a skill or experience interview (e.g. a coding interview for an engineer, a portfolio review for a designer, deeper experience call for other roles) which leads to a virtual or in person interview panel. We prioritize transparency and lack of surprise throughout the process.

What if I need accommodations for my interview?

At Watershed, we are dedicated to ensuring an inclusive recruitment process. We provide reasonable accommodations for candidates with disabilities, long-term conditions, mental health needs, religious observances, neurodivergence, or pregnancy-related support requirements. If you need assistance during your process, please contact your recruiter.
